Touristc Points

Igreja de São Domingos:
It was the first church to be build on the north coast of the state is the mother church of the city and its most important historical and artistic monument.
 

 


Lagoa do Violão:
It is located in the center of the city and has its name because its original format looks like a guitar.
You can use the place to practice aquatic sports.



Praia da Guarita:
The beach is located between the Guardhouse cliffs, and the north Morro das Furnas and south of Morro da Guarita. 

 


Ilha dos Lobos:
It’s the only oceanic island in RS and the only one in Brazil to harbor sea lions at certain times of the year. It has 17 thousand square meters. In addition to the marine species, another peculiar secret is hidden on the Island of Lobos: its wave.
The place also receives important surfing competitions.

 



Rio Mampituba:
 The name "Mampituba" is of Tupi origin and means "river of many bends". Boating, mangroves, native vegetation, birds.. All of them are beautiful bends of the river in its natural way.



Morro do Farol: Ideal place for spotting the natural beauty of the town. There, we can see all the beaches, the towers, the Lagoa do Violão, the mountains, the dunes and Ilha dos Lobos.

Festival Internacional do balonismo:
International Balloon Festival is a festival of hot air balloons that takes place annually in Torres beach in Rio Grande do Sul.  It always happens between the months of April and May. The Night Glow is one of the most expected moment for the visitors, because it is held at night. In the Night Glow, all balloons are inflated, dim the lights around the arena where they are located and binds and turns off the torches, leaving all atmosphere colorful and bright.

Gramado

History
The first habitants of the region were not foreign and had settled there in 1875. In 1913, descendants of German settlers and Italian immigrants settled there, starting the settlement.
The municipality of Gramado was created in December 15, 1954, after being emancipated city Taquara.

Garibaldi

The scenery is surrounded by hills and vines, further typical European architecture refers the French Champagne region and works as a visitors card for people know the factores of glamurous drink. The tours show the production section and products elaboration, always ending with tasting. In the downtown you can apreciate the building of beginning of the century xx, with Europian influences. Maria Fumaça
The tour of steam train is a mamorable atraction of Serra Gaúcha. The visitors are welcomed at the Bento Gonçalves station with a delicious wine tasting. Situated between Porto Alegre and the Serra Gaucha, on Vale do Rio Caí, the city of Bom Princípio is a young town,  emancipated on May 12, 1982.
                German colonization, is nationally known for its fruit symbol, strawberry, and to honor its greatest icon, held every two years National Strawberry Festival.
              It has an area of 88,242,8 km ² and its estimated population in 2009 was 11,792 inhabitants, with 7,815 voters.
              Good Principle has as its symbol the strawberry, or "strawberry".
              The fruit is grown by about 160 families, yielding in a small area, more than a thousand tons of strawberries per year. Growers plant one acre on average, and the use of techniques such as plasticulture ensures high productivity even in the offseason. The strawberry is produced during eight months of the year, between May and December 7.
               Every two years, in September, the town hosts the "National Strawberry Festival", attracting visitors from nearby towns. Interweaving these years is held Construmóvel, fair of ceramic and furniture sector.
               In the city, there is still a giant strawberry known as "Morangão" to greet visitors and make them aware that they are entering the "Land of the strawberry."

The story of Three Crowns begins with the colonization of the Colony of St. Mary of the New World, Current Paranhana Valley in 1846. Several immigrants of German origin, from São Leopoldo, took up residence in the valley.


It was in this city that emerged the first Brazilian restaurant specialized in Tibetan food .
