Tramandaí

Tramandaí is a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul is a beach which is 118 km from the state capital, Porto Alegre

History: On October 26, 1732 officially began settlement Tramandaí when Manoel Gonçalves Ribeiro gained an allotment to which the region belongs. This part of the region became known as Stop the Shells. At this time small straw huts-sedge marsh began to emerge, farmers and visitors to the fishing season.

Geography: It is located at a latitude 29 59'05 "south and longitude 50 º 08'01" West and its altitude is 8 meters above sea level. Its estimated population in 2010 was 41,655 inhabitants and a population density of 254.85 inhabitants / km ². It has an area of 143.76 km ² and its CEP 95590-000.

Tourist Attractions:

BAND OF THE GARDEN: The Horto Florestal North Coast, located in Tramandaí is a rare aside for preservation, study multiplication of forest specimens. IEMANJÁ MONUMENT: Located on Avenida Beira Mar Lighthouse near the monument in honor of Yemanja, is open to visitors daily, with free access. Place of prayers, offerings and meet the Brazilian african religions, with great celebration in honor of Yemanja on the night of February 1.
